The overall protection level meets NATO STANAG 4569 level 2 including multi-hit capability from 7.62 mm x 39 API BZ projectiles at 30 meters (33 yards) distance together with blast and fragment impact from a 155 mm shell at 80 meters (88 yards) distance. Additionally the Container Shelter System protects against threats as outlined in the table below:
Composhield has dedicated three years of applied research and development effort and has made a considerable investment in the Container Shelter System. In the development process, close cooperation with the Danish Army, renowned universities, as well as test institutes have been undertaken to maximize product performance.
A test program of the Container Shelter System has been successfully completed with the Danish Army, and the Protective Barrier Panels have been tested at TNO in Holland and have been shown to meet the customer stated specifications.
